Nude Sketch

I saw this great looking girl in the internet. Her beauty inspired me to draw after one whole week. Fasten your seatbelts, for it is a nude sketch, :). I never look down upon a drawing, just because the subject is a nude study, as long as the aesthetic inspiration is there.

When I get inspired, its an unbearable urge to translate the image into a sketch. Until the sketch is complete, I can hardly rest. Its as if an unknown force has entered my mind, and I can't stop it until the artwork is finished. I must surrender to the creative impulse. This kind of momentum has one advantage, I finish my sketches within a few hours.

Bionca

This is a sketch of Bionca, one of the most interesting characters I came across in the internet. Now I'm not 100% sure if Bionca is her real name (you dont really expect my name to be sesame, do you?). You can't be sure of anything over the net anyway. We met in an internet forum. Now, dont ask me which forum :p. Anyway we struck up a close friendship since then. Bionca is a real geek, a charming lady, a daringly controversial speaker :D. Beware, although she has a great sense of humor, her wit is sharper than a razor blade. I just wanted to do something for her and came up with this sketch.

About me

From a very young age, I had a special feeling for art. I could draw well as a little boy. I can still remember I drew a form of some sort and considered it a Fish when I was just 2, 1/2 years! I had sketch books as a boy but unfortunately never considered a career as an artist. Darn! None of my mentors told me to do so. In my adolescent years, I had very few options: Two. Be a doctor or an engineer. Pretty stupid, now that I think of it. Anyways, I did'nt stand a chance in the competitive exams of Joint Entrance and ended up with an Engineering Diploma in Electronics and Telecom from a famous Private Institute. I passed with flying colours and secretly appeared as a private candidate for Bachelor of Arts degree exam. I sat for the engineering exam and the BA exam almost simultaneously; 10 days being in between. I didnt get much time to prepare for the BA degree exam. But it was still fun. I remember reading chapters on psychology and sociology for the first time just 30 minutes before the actual exam! To top the excitement, my parents didnt know, until it was too late. I passed!
After drifting for many many years doing a variety of things, frequently combing the Himalayas looking for inner peace :p, including trials for monkhood, I finally came to rest as an animator. I still am an animator, occasionally daring to do digital paintings with my favourite pen tablet. Some of my artwork can be seen in deviant art DA, Renderosity and Conceptart. The ones that I am posting here, belong to the Dark side of my Force. *wink*
